Meet Scrappy –– the larger-than-life raccoon head welcoming visitors to the new Ada County Landfill Learning Center. His spectacles are crafted from reclaimed bicycle tires (a big thank you to Boise Bicycle Project), and John Yarnell donated halogen lights from his FJ Cruiser to bring those eyes to life. Trademark Creative made it all work.
The Ada County Landfill Learning Center is built around the idea of re-use, even the building itself was repurposed. Education & Outreach Manager Rebecca Weeks did a phenomenal job bringing the whole space to life. Scrappy was just the beginning.
