Kathryn Albertson Park is a Boise favorite. I designed the new signage housed inside a rustic timber structure at the park’s entry. I wanted the normally mundane park rules and map to be elegant and natural, like the park itself.
The design focuses on birds with the park map inside the quail shape, and park rules communicated in graphic quail egg shapes. I used hand lettering for the title and old fashioned engravings for the illustrations.
