When Letterhead Fonts contacted me about creating a font, I was thrilled. A font called Inkling was born.
I created many extra ligatures for this expressive font. If you’re unfamiliar with ligatures, that’s when two or more letters are joined in a single glyph – like “mer” and “anie” and “too” are different than if you typed each letter individually. That means when you use the ligatures and alternates in Inkling, it seems more like my natural handwriting.
