WAY FINDING:
COLOR PASSAGES

Integrated with construction at VRT’s Main Street Station, four different floor medallions mark bus entry points and tie into our local landmarks with geography and wildlife elements, borrowing colors used by Valley Regional Transit.

Each medallion has a metal inset “transportation element” like a float tube for the Boise River, a mountain bike for the foothills, a horse in the high desert, and a cross-country skier in the mountains.

These floor medallions, along with colorful waterjet-cut awning panels just outside the bus bay doors, help bus patrons navigate their way.
