A large welcome sculpture greets visitors to the Boise WaterShed Education Center with a water bubble theme, and directs them along the pathway to nine interpretive signs.
The brush strokes, color wash, and messages change as the reader learns about water use on the campus-wide interpretive signage. I paid close attention to the journey, and to the placement of the signage in the landscape.
I created this signage as part of a WaterShed public art team. I worked closely with the talented Ken McCall who brought the ‘Bubbles’ entry sculpture to life.
