Kayak Sign Toppers

Four brightly colored kayak sign toppers now run along Pleasanton Avenue and point to the whitewater at the Boise River Park. They reverse to a feather the opposite direction.

These way-finding sign toppers are like colorful bits of jewelry for the neighborhood. I hope residents look up and smile at these toppers, and visitors take note and are directed to the nearby parks.

I designed these sign toppers to reflect the voice of the neighborhood from the Cultural Arts Plan; purposefully unpolished and imperfect, with brush strokes and etched lines that show a handmade touch.

This project is a “leave-behind gift” for the neighborhood from the 30th Street Neighborhood Cultural Arts Plan. Trademark Sign Co. did a beautiful job bringing them to life.
